Sheesh Taouk


    Boneless Chicken – 1 kg (Preferably thighs) washed and drained

    Ginger Garlic Paste – 1 tablespoon

    Olive Oil – 1 tablespoon

    Curd/Yogurt – 250 gms

    Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon

    Salt – As per taste

    Pepper – ˝ teaspoon

    Cumin Powder – ˝ teaspoon

    Garam Masala powder – ˝ teaspoon

    Cheese cubes – 3 nos


    Cut the chicken into one inch pieces.

    In a blender add all the ingredients and prepare a smooth paste.

    Apply the marinade to the chicken pieces and keep in refrigerator for 2-3 hours.

    Prepare the skewers with the chicken and some diced onions, green bell pepper, and tomatoes.

    BBQ these on charcoal fire or oven or you can even pan grill them.

    Serve hot with desired dressing or green chutney…..


    TIP: For spiciness you can add a few green chilies while blending all the ingredients…..
